In October 2017 we revamped how we stored the Bill Notification data. That opened the door to finally create the much-needed notification reporting. The reports go back to mid-October 2017, but provide some great information on the jobs that kicked off, who was notified and how.
You can find the new report by logging in as an Admin to the Payment Portal. Go to Reports > System Events > Bill Notifications. From there, you just choose the month that you want to see details from and then load the report.
The results will show each job that ran for that month. To obtain the details of who was actually notified, just click on the Download Detail link.
You can then choose to see who received just emails, text, or all customers that were notified. Click “GO” to see the results on the screen or you can export the results directly to a CSV file.
The great thing about seeing the results is that if you have a large dataset, you can search for a specific account, email or name. This is very useful when a customer calls stating that they did not receive a notification. You can first search this result to see if the customer qualified and then go to the SendGrid report to check the status of the email itself.
