If you've ever wondered if your customer truly did receive the email from our system that they should have ... there's a report for that!
We aim to have every one of our clients using SendGrid for outgoing email deliverability and we've now extended our use of SendGrid to log all of the various email events that can happen, the most important of which is if the email was in fact delivered. Previously we could only manually lookup delivery data over the previous 7 days but now we can log that data for life. This feature does require us to set you up on SendGrid so if you don't see the following report then that means we haven't set you up yet. Please contact us for more information and make sure to check out this article for more information on why we use SendGrid in the first place.
Log into our system with your admin account and click on Reports at the top. Provided we have you setup on SendGrid you will see the new report link there:
Clicking on that link will bring you to an open search box where you can enter the email address you are searching for and if the system has sent anything to that address it will return those results. Additionally you can search for the customer using the Customers report, click through to the Customer Detail and below the email address on file you will see a link that both brings you to the SendGrid Email Report but it does a default search on the email address of the profile you just came from:
(this screenshot was taken from an actual customer account which is why the sensitive information has been scrubbed)
Very simple! Please note that we didn't begin logging email events until mid-November for all clients that we already had setup on SendGrid and if we set you up from that point forward then the logging would begin on that date.
