Today we are excited to announce the addition of an entirely new line of service: IVR Phone Payments.
Up to this point, Transaction Warehouse has been known as a company offering smart and fully integrated payment systems and doing so exclusively on the web as a managed service. We feel that your customers would like additional options and now can facilitate payments taken via an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system over the phone.
The best part: this service is a FREE add-on for any of our existing customers .. just the same per-transaction fee that you see on the web which you're already either absorbing or passing along to your customers in the form of a convenience fee. For our new and future customers it's just part of our total package. And it's a managed service just like our web payment system and you still deal with us directly for support.
We will provide your company a local phone number that is dedicated for your phone payment system. There are several options for driving your customers to the new system; either by creating a prompt in your main phone greeting (if you have one) that forwards to the payment system or simply providing the dedicated phone number directly to your customers by way of a note on your bills. We'll work with you to figure out the best route and help you get the word out as well. See this article for more information on phone number setup.
What you will see on your side will be exactly as you see it today with payments through our web system: payments by phone will show up in your billing software the same and the funds will settle through your payment provider the same as well. Our reports clearly indicate your phone payment volumes as well.
We've also added a Spanish language option if you would like us to enable that for you.
How do you get this new service? Just ask for it! We'll probably have to spend a little bit of time tweaking your payment provider settings and will keep you posted along the way. We have never asked our customers to sign a contract or required any payment minimums, and the same will apply to our new phone payment system.
