One of the more common questions you have to field from your customers using the Online or Phone Payment system is why a transaction didn’t go through. As a result, you contact Transaction Warehouse needing information about the credit card that is not as easy to access due to PCI-compliance requirements. In order to better serve you, we have now added the payment information in a PCI-compliant format to the Transaction Diagnostics report. The information will be available under the customer’s name and will contain the form of payment, the last 4 digits of the credit card and the expiration date. Please note that this information is valid from the time of the upgrade forward; we do not have the ability to pull up this level of detail prior to publish date. So, the next time you see a credit card that has been declined due to expiration date, you will have access to that information!
We have also added SMS as a payment type to both the Transaction Diagnostics and Transaction Summary report. This will allow you to see what customers utilized the Reply-to-Pay feature when paying their utility bill.
Finally, we found that when searching by Account, there was an issue where numbers shared with other utilities were showing up. This has been fixed.
