This year we will also be going through a number of system changes that will result in a migration entirely away from our current managed hosting provider.
In April of 2017 we will hit 7 years since the system's first live payment and we've already gone through one hosting upgrade consisting of all new servers however this time we'll be scaling up beyond the capacity of our current provider. In those 7 years we've seen rapid expansion of new database technologies that we simply didn't have at our disposal when we began building our system in 2009. We began using some of these new technologies a few years ago as we introduced additional services like Bill Notifications, SendGrid logging and Outbound IVR to augment our system and over the past 1-2 years we've realized that a full migration in that direction would be nothing but beneficial to us as a company and you as our clients.
Currently we are experimenting with how we will execute this transition and so there is no action required at this time from you. When this conversation really gets going we will be kicking out dedicated newsletters to get everybody prepared. We just want to let you know that we are always keeping an eye out on our system performance and dedicated to providing our services without disruption and this is all in an effort to keep that promise.
