We have received reports of the payment form coming up with the following error:
This error is due to the payment information field being rendered by our third-party tokenization service (Very Good Security, "VGS"). This service replaces all sensitive data with a token before it ever hits our system and is part of our PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider payment information data flow. Please refer to the Transaction Warehouse PCI Data Flow PDF document attached below for full details.
We are having some customers, very few, where something on their network or their computer is blocking access to third-party JavaScript which is used to render the payment information fields. We've seen customers experience it on military networks, those that work in the banking and finance industry, or other places that have more strict networks.
In more simple terms, you have networks seeing that the page is rendered from our domain name but then detecting that a credit card field is rendered from a different domain name and, under strict rule sets, that is being prohibited.
The best solution is to not have the third-party Javascript blocked. The domain to allow is js.verygoodvault.com. Since the Javascript could be blocked at the network level or even by a web browser plugin or local computer policy, the method to no longer block it would be variable depending on the customer's situation.
Some customer have also found success trying to make their payment from their home computers or perhaps take their phone off of Wi-Fi and use their mobile data and try their mobile browser.
